Baggage Policy


  • Baggage is any item, such as clothing and personal items, that you may require or use when you travel. We will make every effort to carry your baggage, provided it has been checked, billed and complies with the established conditions.
  • For international flights, you will be able to check your baggage two (2) and up to one (1) hour before your flight’s scheduled departure.
  • For domestic flights, you will be able to check your baggage two (2) hours and up to forty-five (45) minutes before your flight’s scheduled departure
  • You must travel with your baggage until you reach your final destination.
  • In order to check your baggage, you must hold a Wingo ticket with the flight number, time, date and destination of your flight.
  • All your baggage is subject to inspection by any relevant authority.
  • Children (minors under 2) are not allowed to carry any checked or carry-on luggage. However, the accompanying parent or guardian will be allowed to carry an additional item for free, as long as it meets the established conditions.
  • If you are traveling with infants, Wingo accepts one stroller free of charge for each infant as checked baggage.

The following baggage is not accepted by Wingo:

  • Baggage whose declared customs value is higher than USD$5,000.00.
  • Baggage that has not been packed properly.
  • Baggage whose size and characteristics are not accepted by Wingo.
  • Baggage that might damage other baggage while in the cargo hold, including corrosive fluids and sharp objects that are not packed properly.
  • Dangerous goods.
