SUSTAINABILITY POLICY – AEROREPÚBLICA S.A. & COPA AIRLINES-COLOMBIAN BRANCH
We understand the importance of acting socially responsible when carrying out our operations and we are committed to sustainable tourism, therefore, the Airlines –Compañía Panameña de Aviación-Colombian Branch and AeroRepública S.A (doing business as Copa Colombia and Wingo, respectively, and hereinafter jointly referred to as “the Airlines”), have agreed to implement the principles of Sectoral Technical Standard NTS-TS 003 and to operate in a responsible manner, to the extent applicable, by adopting policies aimed at preventing, eliminating and/or minimizing the negative impact that the Airlines’ operations may have on any relevant community in Colombia, in order to improve their relationship with the environment, society and any relevant social, environmental or economic stakeholder.

COMMITMENT AGAINST CHILD SEX TOURISM: In compliance with Act 1336 of 2009, Resolution 4311 of August 30th, 2010 and Resolution 02591 of June 6th, 2013 issued by the Special Administrative Unit of the Civil Aviation Authority and under the commitment made by Compañía Panameña de Aviación-Colombian Branch and AeroRepública S.A (doing business as Copa Colombia and Wingo, respectively) against child abuse, child pornography and child sex tourism, we ratify our commitment to prevent child sexual abuse.
COMMITMENT TO THE PROTECTION OF OUR NATURAL AND CULTURAL ASSETS: At Compañía Panameña de Aviación-Colombian Branch and AeroRepública S.A. (doing business as Copa Colombia and Wingo, respectively) we act in compliance with the Constitution of Colombia and with the General Act on Culture (Act 397 of 1997) and its regulatory decrees to: i) make responsible use of any artistic expressions produced or manufactured in the country; ii) promote attractions and activities related with cultural assets in an accurate manner and in accordance with the attraction’s actual features or the cultural assets offered by the relevant destination; iii) support and promote activities aimed at preventing the illegal trafficking of cultural assets, in compliance with the applicable regulations; and iv) organize, promote and market tourism good and services that do not have a negative impact on cultural assets.
PREVENTING ILLEGAL WILDLIFE TRAFFICKING:
At Compañía Panameña de Aviación-Colombian Branch and AeroRepública S.A. (doing business as Copa Colombia and Wingo, respectively) we condemn any illegal activity related with the unethical use of wildlife, therefore, we abide by Act 17 of 1981, Resolution 1367 of 2000 on the prevention of wildlife trade and trafficking issued by the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development and any other relevant regulation.
