IMPORTANT UPDATE

Negative Test for COVID-19
The most recommended option is that you carry a negative PCR test for COVID-19 taken between 72 and 12 hours before the trip. This result must be included in the web form for travel to Aruba called ED Card, which you must fill out before traveling. Mandatory for people over 15 years old.
If you do not have the negative PCR test for COVID-19, you must have it done in Aruba upon arrival and undergo strict quarantine until the result is obtained at your hotel. The test will be carried out at the Airport facilities and has a cost of 75USD for the traveler (The cost must be paid in advance on the ED Card, between 72 to 4 hours before traveling).

All international tourists arriving on commercial flights and visiting a hotel will be granted a free temporary travel assistance plan during the hotel check-in process, which will include coverage for emergencies in case of infection or exposure to COVID-19 while they are in the country. Coverage includes medical care by specialists, medical transfers, transfer of a family member, exemption from penalty for air ticket changes, lodging for long stays and more. This insurance will be provided free of charge to visitors who arrive before December 31, 2020 and will be paid 100% by the Dominican Government. To obtain the coverage of the assistance plan, the tourist must enter the country exclusively by air and only applies to those who stay in a hotel.

Additionally, the authority will randomly conduct an antigen test (COVID-19) to travelers entering the country. If the test is negative, quarantine is not required. If the antigen test is positive upon arrival at the destination, you must quarantine as required by local authorities.
Travelers under 14 years of age will be exempt from the antigen test that the authorities will carry out upon arrival of the flight.
